Monitor or USB not working

If one of your monitors or both of your monitors isn't working or your USB ports aren't working, try these steps.

  1. Open the lid of your laptop.
  2. Unplug the usb-c cable from your laptop. This should be the only cable plugged into the laptop.
  3. Unplug power from the dock or monitor that the usb-c cable was plugged into.
  4. Hold the monitor or dock power button for 15 seconds.
  5. Plug the power cable back into the dock or monitor.
  6. Plug the usb-c cable back into your laptop.
  7. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please let us know.
