Random Problems with EA/e-automate

This will fix many random issues with EA/e-automate. It can fix, "The size property has an invalid size of 0", Reports not pulling up, and others.


Solution: Delete registry key by doing the following:


  1. Before continuing, make note of your profile settings. You can find them by clicking the pencil icon on your login screen when you first launch e-automate.
    1. Your profile information will be reset and it will need to be reset once the process is done.
    2. Also take note of your email settings in Tools > Client settings, as they will needed to be added again.
  2. Close out of e-automate, then run regedit. Click 'Start' on your Windows toolbar and type "regedit", then hit 'enter'.
  3. Delete the following registry folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Digital Gateway Inc\NET\e-automate
  4. Close the registry editor and open e-automate; the registry will be completely rebuilt.
  5. Recreate your profile on the e-automate login screen and you email settings.
  6. Login and retest.
